St Anthony’s Primary School worked in collaboration with SPCA to raise public awareness of SPCA. The students visited SPCA on 30 March 2007 to familiarize them with the services provided by SPCA and to enable them to prepare the event, “Raising Public Awareness of SPCA” which was held on 11 April 2007.

The students in the Science and Environmental Club and the Service Learning Programme together with the prefects and some teachers, participated in this event. With the support of the Jurong Town Council, it was held along the pedestrian linkway between Bukit Batok MRT Station and Bukit Batok Bus Interchange. Beside displaying posters and distributing SPCA pamphlets to the members of the public, the students sang ‘animal-theme’ songs.
