Many people ask "What's in it for me if I become a member of the SPCA?
SPCA is an animal welfare charity depending on donations from members of the public. By supporting the SPCA, you are helping the Society achieve its objectives: to promote kindness and to prevent cruelty to animals.
When you sign up, you will receive a membership card and quarterly publications informing you of SPCA's news and what it is doing for the animals.
As a member of the SPCA, we would ask you to please help spread the “Be kind to animals” message and to stop animal abuse if you see it happening. If you are witness to an extreme act of abuse, you need to make a police report and inform the SPCA so we can follow up with the police. You would also need to testify in court so that offenders can be prosecuted.
If you have any further questions regarding membership, please call the SPCA at 6287 5355 ext. 17 any time from 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
Thank you. |
