Who says school fundraisings are always boring?
Not at the annual Jive Fiesta in Republic Poly (RP)!

As part of their studies, students from the Diploma in Integrated Events Management chose us as their beneficiary and invited us over for a three-hour long bazaar in early August!

AnimaLove was the hard work by students from class E25P. With a love for homeless and abandoned animals, they put together the bazaar to raise money and awareness for them.

Prior to that day, we went to RP for a talk to share with the students about what we do, the importance of being a responsible pet owner and stories of animal abuse.

It was so heart-warming to see the entire forum full of stalls trying to raise money in different ways. There were:

  • Popcorn
  • Candy floss
  • Ice cream
  • Socks
  • Balloon crafting and bursting
  • Soccer kick-off
  • SPCA merchandise
  • Two YMCA Youth-For-Causes groups were there selling their chocolates, booksmarks, t-shirts and tissues too!

Next to all these, a LAN game of Counter Strike was going on as well! Students paid a small token to have a lot of fun and at the same time win some really cool prizes, proudly sponsored by E2Max, Cathay and New Urban Male!

While the talented student-performers serenaded us with their songs, we were busy answering questions people were asking about the SPCA!

We enjoyed ourselves very much and are very thankful for all the efforts the students have made!
