Noa is shy and will need time and patience to open up, though she has come a long way from the terrified puppy she was when she came to the SPCA.. She has a fairly sweet and gentle temperament, and loves to follow her sister Cilla around. Interestingly, Noa's confidence rises quite a few notches when she's running around and enjoying playtime with a few of her canine friends, she certainly isn't shy then! She would definitely benefit from a calm and relaxed family who will give her the space and time to get settled down, and who understand that there's a heart of gold in there waiting.

Pretty Cilla has come a very long way since she ended up with us at the SPCA. She and her sister Noa were very scared and unsocialized, when they were approached by people Cilla would roll over onto her back and tremble with fear. Nowadays she's much happier and friendlier, especially with people she knows, but still a bit shy with strangers. When she's comfortable Cilla is a playful, cheeky, sweetheart who needs the opportunity to shine.

Benny
Gender: Male
Breed: Cross Breed
Colour: Black/Tan
Age: 4 yrs 8 mths
Not HDB Approved

Bambi, Bertha, Bradley, Brandon, Benny and Benji were brothers and sisters stuck in a power grid and abandoned by their parents. They were unable to fend for themselves and the poor little things were starving and whining for help. Our officers with the help of a few security personnel at the permise were able to bring the 6 puppies out and rescue them before harm befalls them. Happy, tumbling and playful, these six little packets of joy are some of the most fun to watch. Attention must be given to them and their training and socialisation is crucial at thier tender age. With that, they will grow into the most obedient and smart adults. Benny likes to hang back and is a generally reserved little pup.

Spike is a sweet dog who is learning through postive, reward-based training to be less scared of the big wide world. He would do best with a family that has time to take things
slowly and gently with him.

He is not Singa the Lion, but Singa the Singapore Special. He is also Singa the Sweetie, as you will discover over time. He is cautious and reserved with new faces; he might even bark at you from a distance. In dog-speak, that means, "don't get too near me, you stranger, you scare me". But he means no malice! Once he becomes familiar with you and receives consistent love and care from you, he will greet you like a long-lost friend in a calm and gentle manner that makes him quite different from other more excitable dogs.

LIKES

  • Going out on walks
  • Back rubs
